The flavours for all three dishes were SOSO overpowering (in a yummy way). I really enjoyed the la zi ji and there were actually chicken cubes with meat rather than just the crispy skin (I have tried the la zi ji at another famous shop in Chinatown and Iโ€™ve got to say that chong qing did it better). Also, the chicken had a numbing mala taste and was actually pretty spicy. French beans tasted fresh (ainโ€™t those scrawny french beans served at certain restaurants) and the savoury minced pork bits complemented the veg v v well.

Also I think they are famous for their grilled fish which we didnโ€™t manage to try this time round but will def be back to try it!! ๐Ÿ˜
