very well marinated and flavorful chashu that had a good fat to meat ratio. it was melt in the mouth tender at the fatty areas and provided texture at the meaty ones!! it’s v different from the usual disc-like chashu, more like chinese style braised pork!! they were also pretty generous w 5 decent slabs of chashu for $17.80 :~) v reasonable since they have free flow hard boiled eggs too heh

also loved that the broth was tasty but not overwhelmingly rich + the noodles were thin and springy!! 🤤 the ramen egg was also soft and oozy
