A delightful chicken rice experience, from that fluffy, oiled rice to the smooth chicken flesh covered in a thin, flavourful layer of roasted chicken skin. The addition of fried garlic does it for me, shaking up flavour and texture where it goes. There’s also beansprouts beneath, in case you missed out on getting greens, which by the way, was also crunchy and delicious.

A soup of the day is served along every order of rice and while it tastes quite MSG-laden, the piping hot bowl does help warm the meal along the way.
