Unlike the prawn noodles in Singapore, the Hokkien mee in Penang consists of mainly porky ingredients with a hearty, thick, and sumptuous prawn broth with tiny sualor (wild caught) prawns. The one at 888 Hokkien mee was amazing - definitely do recommend! You may add on extras to your noodles such as pork slices, roast pork, braised pork trotter and intestines, or fish balls and meat balls.
