Finally got to try out the popular Taiwanese milk tea, Koi. After queuing up for 15 min, we ordered Golden Bubble Milk Tea (RM11) and Caramel Black Tea Macchiato (RM11). Golden Bubble Milk Tea is essentially Taiwanese red milk tea with brown sugar tapioca peals. The golden pearls were soft chewy. Macchiato was packed with a small plastic knife to slit a hole in the lid to drink instead of using a straw. The first sip was heavenly, light and creamy foam with the sweetness from the tea. You can choose your sweetness level as well. I opt for 50% sugar and it was still a bit too sweet. Maybe will go for 25% next time.
