The 辣椒版面 that I usually get from the the first level (老妈子版面) was sold out, so I decided to try the rendition from another stall situated at level 2 of Amoy hawker. Maybe I should have asked for more anchovies because this bowl of noodles were simply put, chilli noodles. There weren’t any fragrance and spice was probably the only flavour you could taste in this bowl. However, the portion is more generous as compared to the one located just below. ⁣
