This Korean stew with a Japanese twist not just enhances your health but also your beauty. The silky soft tofu is high in protein, low in calorie, rich in soy isoflavones stewed in collagen rich soup. The delicious basic soup seasoned with Tategi comes with shrimps, asari clams, tofu, semi raw egg and meat or seafood of your choice. There're 3 options of soup base: Salt & Ginger (my choice), Japanese Miso or Non Spicy. Level of spiciness can go up to 6 but I'm perfectly happy at level 3. Those who know me will know that I'm totally not a fan of tofu. This tofu however wowed me as it was indeed superbly soft without the 'bean' taste. And I super love the rich & thick soup base. Once in a while having this tofu is definitely fine with me for the sake of the capsaicin and collagen 😋
