PUNCH’s french toast was crispy on the outside while soft on the inside. The dollop of mascarpone cheese on top added a layer of creaminess as it melted into the warm brioche. Served alongside were strawberries that were as sweet as the white chocolate they were dipped in, and tart lingonberries that provided a contrast in flavour. My only gripe with the dish is that there was not enough of that delicious salted caramel sauce that the french toast got a little dry towards the end.
