Just ~2 months old into the hood, another new cafe addition to the West! Featuring homemade gelato of assorted flavours, there’s also freshly baked Belgian waffles for you to pair these scoops of smooth, creamy delight with! ✨ Matcha, Houjicha and 70% Dark chocolate were our pick for the day, nestling in top of a thick, fluffy Belgian waffles with slightly crisp edges. Served with a side of maple syrup, the texture of the waffles was done right though I would personally prefer if there is some buttery fragrance for the flavour as well! Nevertheless, the main highlight here is the gelato, with Houjicha being my personal favourite flavour among all, possessing a lingering aroma with a prominent roasted flavour. The matcha comes with a subtle earthy bitter undertone that was lingering but pretty mild in flavour for my liking. As for the 70% Dark chocolate, it was bittersweet, luscious and thick, though I wouldn’t mind a higher intensity of bitter undertone to its cacao-packed flavour. Looking forward to try the other flavours on my next visit such as the Earl grey lavender & seasalt lemon (which I’ve missed out on the previous trip)! 🍨 . Thanks @pobosg for the great hospitality and for lending us the props for our photos! 💕🙆🏻‍♀️ .
