The fact that they name the items on their lunch menu "2 meat 1 veg" and "2 veg 1 meat" ($8.90) makes it clear as day that this is basically cai fan, which may not be as value-for-money without the Burpple Beyond deal. However, with the 1-for-1 deal, I felt this was a fantastic lunch option in the city area! I chose butter chicken, braised beef with tomato and spicy stew tofu. Apart from leaning on the oilier side, the food was generally good. It tasted better than your average cai fan dishes, possibly even better than some zichar places! However, the portion of rice is vvvvery small and the fact that they used disposable cutlery even for dine-in may be a turn-off to some.
