I LOVE their ramen! Didn’t rly enjoy ramen until I had the ramen from Hakata Ikkousha!! Also had it in Melbourne and gotta say, the standards are consistently good 👍🏼

Their ramen is thinner than usual and has a really nice bite to it, it’s the main draw for me. Get the “normal” for noodle texture, “hard” tasted a bit floury and not as great. The soup is very rich and creamy, full of collagen but not salty/msg-laden. I got the tonkotsu standard, but I would love to try the light version to see how it compares.

Ingredients were pretty good too - chashu was lean and thin but very tender and easy to eat, there’s also some black fungus for the crunch. I stole half an ajitama (+$2) from my bf and it was very flavourful with that jammy yolk. They also give each person a hardboiled egg, but the yolk is fully cooked so it can get a bit chalky.

TLDR: one of the best ramen spots in SG. Worth the queue 👌🏼
