This wanton Mee reminds me of my younger days when my mum would buy my sister and I wanton noodles during our weekly visit to our grandparent’s home .

Nothing spectacular but its just the sincerity that has gone behind preparing this . This stall and the stall next to it ( Tian Tian porridge ) is run by a passionate group of elderlys.

The chilli is lovely - because instead of sambal which most wanton mees are served with these days - they use a slightly more savoury type of chilli with a hint of vinegar .

At 2.50, this is such an affordable lunch.
