Eye-catching cake with its lychee mousse, rose sponge, lychee bits, and topping of lychee popping boba. The lychee and rose aromas were balanced well to make for a light and enjoyable flavour. Loved the texture contrast of the stringy dried lychee and popping pearls. However, did find the moist and fluffy rose sponge to be on the sweeter rather than floral end. The lightness of this cake also made it more forgettable but would still recommend this to those with light palettes or fans of lychee-rose combinations.
