Truly a kopitiam filled with gems. The Chee Cheong Fun (RM2.50) sells out by 10am so you know how good it must be in the most humble form — plain flat noodles, topped with sesame seeds, sweet sauce drizzle and green chili. I missed primetime to order this favourite but not all was lost, I still had Dai Be Steamed Fish! The waiter recommended their signature Soy Sauce Steamed Fish Head (RM27) and I repeatedly told them I was having it alone, forgetting that they couldn't exactly size down on a fish head. So a whole fish head arrived in all its glory, while all the other patrons stared me down for being a glutton. Verdict: I finished that hell of a delicious fish head.
