If Whole Earth sets the standards for Asian vegetarian restaurants in Singapore, then Joie does it for fusion veg, or creative veg, or just veg. All the dishes in the lunch menu are very good; the ‘steak’ made with monkey head mushrooms and the gratin which tastes like French escargots are outstanding. The only weak dish is the charcoal tempura, where the batter is a big thick. Extremely friendly service, and reasonable prices. We will definitely go back to Joie with joy.
