I was very fortunate to have tried the Borrowdale Pork at Farangse. It could sound like a contradiction, but this was what I tasted - it was porky but not gamey, it was fat yet it doesn't felt gelat.

Being free range, the pigs have their own time and space to live like pigs should - sleep 70% of the time, and laze around in mud when they feel like it. With no artifical hormones added to speed up their growth, they take longer to grow their full size. This means that the pork are a little fatter, because of their lifestyle, and that they take longer to grow.
