Adopting a contemporary approach to authentic Japanese BBQ experience π₯ is En Yakiniku, located at Bras Basah/Bugis area. It's a meat lovers' heaven! π
.
We tried a plethora of their beef options π! The highlight was definitely the Miyazaki A4 wagyu which @enyakinikusg sources from the famed wagyu ranches of the Miyazaki prefectures in Kyushu, Japan π―π΅. The A4 wagyu ribeye ($54.90) was the crowd favourite β€οΈ - super succulent with an almost melt-in-the-mouth texture π€€.
.
The other beef cuts that we tried were also of good quality! π₯© Particularly enjoyed the A3 US Prime Short Rib ($28.90) which was more fatty & tender! ππ» The Oyster Blade & US Beef Chuck ($17.90 each) are leaner cuts but nowhere near tough π. Pair the meats with the spicy sauce & yakiniku sauce π€! We also tried the Gyu Tan (beef tongue, $21.90) - thinly sliced with a firm chewy texture.
.
If you do not take beef, fret not! Their Chestnut-fed Duroc Pork Belly ($15.90) & Iberico Pork Collar ($14.90) π were equally delightful! You can also opt for their Tiger Prawns ($22/6pcs) π¦, Shiitake mushrooms ($8/6pcs) π, or Yakitori ($12) - grilled chicken skewers π. We ended the meal on a sweet note with Taiyaki Ice Cream ($5.50) π¦.
