I’ve been wanting to try the Dumpling Platter ($20) from Dumpling Darlings for the longest time ever, and I finally did so over dinner recently:)! The dumpling platter comes with 15 dumplings comprising 3 of each flavour, namely original, veggie mandu, momo curry, fried pierogi and smoked duck. My Top 3 favourites are:

1️⃣ The Original - You can’t go wrong with the classic combination of thin dumpling skin and minced pork collar and napa cabbage filling, served with black vinaigrette.

2️⃣ Fried Pierogi - The crispy deep fried dumpling contains a velvety filling of truffle mashed potato, smoked bacon, caramelised onions, cheddar and sriracha crema. Love the contrast in texture and taste, and the fact that it is not oily.

3️⃣ Smoked Duck - The bits of smoked duck in the filling is surprisingly moist and go well with shitake mushroom, caramelised leek and hoisin mustard. The drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette ties all the flavours together nicely.

Noodles-wise, I have tried all 3 flavours and Sichuan Pork Noodles ($6) stood out to me the most, mostly because it has the strongest flavours and punch amongst the 3 noodle flavours. Even so, it is not very spicy and is pretty accessible to all.

I used Burpple Beyond one-for-one deal for my meal but even without the deal, I think the pricing at Dumpling Darlings is pretty reasonable given the quality and quantity:)
