I got to know this place recently after Singapore Food Master 2020 announced their top food heroes, and Bara is one of the top 3 in the west area.

A authentic Indonesian food at Icon Village extension, not much seats here but they offered a few choices of set menu for you to choose.

All set menu comes with their special grilled rice, fried tempe & tofu, sambal, melinjo crackers and side salad.

I ordered the ayam bakar betutu with it Balinese style grilled chicken, served with a unique earthy “sambal matah”, a mixture of different raw spices in special chili oil.

At first I was having hard time trying to unfold the rice wrap as your hand will get oily after. The grilled chicken has the smoked taste but totally delicious, mixed well with the chili. For $12.50, I could say this is definitely worth trying if you are looking for some Indonesian food in Singapore.
