Goreng pisang (fried banana).

Lightly battered banana and deepfried. Outer layer thin and crispy whilst the banana was fat, sweet and juicy. Best way to enjoy was to eat it piping hot. If only you could here that "crack" sound and the steam whizzing out from the banana. Hard to find yummy goreng pisang these days.

Goreng pisang uncle has been selling this for decades. He is calling it a day come this October. Yes... retiring liao.
