I’m someone who doesn’t crave deep fried food - in fact, dare I even say I don’t quite enjoy it? But I was baffled by how I couldn’t stop snacking on the karaage served... There was something about these that kept me hooked.

Even though we took a while to take pictures, the exterior of the Chicken Karaage ($15++ for 10 pieces) wasn’t tough or stale-tasting, despite having been left out for a while. The deep-fried chicken thigh was juicy & tender, a surprising winner in my books.
