Okie sorry for the wait cos I’ve been really busy with school 🥺 but I promise I have a lot of good recommendations to post hehe. Presenting to you @swatowrestaurant’s famous liusha pau!!!! This pau was so amazing after steaming for 7 minutes - the pau skin was soft and fluffy like a cloud, the salted egg taste was prominent but not overwhelming, and the overall liusha was both sweet and savoury!! 👌

PS: pro tip here (imho): do get the frozen paus instead of eating in as the frozen liusha paus were 12 for $8.90 whereas if you eat in, 一笼 of 流沙包 would cost $4 for only 2!!!! 😵 major SHOCKER!!!

This liusha pau is honestly on par with Tim Ho Wan’s (in Hong Kong) and I was so shook when I tore into it as the filling was lava and custard-y. Please steam your liusha paus for at least 7 mins!!!! (tried and tested; tho it may vary dep on your freezer temp, water temp etc). Do tag me in your #yolkporn videos 🤪🤪
