Rice was ok but I've heard it tends to be very hard sometimes. Their ckn is nubbad but the killer combo of fragrant savoury oil and fried garlic(very crisp texture that isn't chewy) really works wonders
Chili was full of heat and tang, goes really well w everything
The reason why they're pricey is because there's a complimentary bowl of soup for every plate. And boy oh boy this is the best complimentary soup probably, it's good enough to stand on its own. I'm pretty sure they can open a soup stall if they wanted to.
Their soups are on rotation and today's peanut ckn is one of the most classic. Memories man. Also adding on one bowl of rice is free for hungry eaters(or was it only students? Not sure)
