Along with the signature tamagoyaki, there's also 2 pieces of chicken karaage (mine had 3 though 😁), 1 croquette and 1 tempura ebi served on a bed of umami mushroom rice. Do be prepared to wait for 10-15 min (depending on the crowd too) as the ingredients are freshly prepared and deep fried upon order. Though sinful, the variety of deep fried elements were done to a crisp and well breaded exterior. The chicken karaage was tender and succulent whereas the tempura ebi was fresh and juicy, with a panko crusted crisp exterior. The croquette too as well, had a golden brown exterior down to perfect crispness, withholding smooth, creamy mash within. Along with fluffy and subtly sweet Japanese pan fried omelette (aka tamagoyaki), the mushroom rice was flavourful with a pleasant earthy note, comprising of shimeiji mushrooms embedded within. .
