Exactly the title - this tasted like the wet style hokkien mee even tho it is supposedly aglio olio. My friend loved it cos she’s crazy about hokkien mee but I have my reservations.

Shrimps were fresh and the head was cooked to crispy so it was actually edible. The noodles were cooked in prawn broth so tasted quite strong. I didn’t expect that as regular aglio olio is more garlic, chilli and parsley based.

It’s a fusion twist. You will like it if you’re a fan of hokkien mee but too bad, I’m not.

Verdict: 3/5
