Sometimes you just get that itch for some good ol’ frog porridge. My dad used to bring me to Dunman Food Centre for this, wanton mee and the infamous rojak stall with crazy long waits.

Gong bao frog is always my top pick for the spicy gravy that’s awesome with the thick porridge. Theirs was a little sweeter than we liked but we did ask for it to be less spicy so that might have thrown the balance off. But damn, their frogs were one of the silkiest, most tender frogs I’ve had. Will be back! 🐸
