From Thai Story at Bukit Timah Market and Food Centre, which replaced the spot formerly occupied by Mi Casa before they have moved. I know everyone's wondering about what in the world did I do to decide I eat something with such a peanut-ty broth despite my allergies but I didn't know about that before I ordered. Nonetheless, what you are seeing here is probably one of the best Tom Yum noodles I have had — that solid broth that boasts of tanginess from calamansi and lots of fiery heat that I am still sweating from it despite I have just gotten on a train a while ago; the Tom Yum soup is really immensely flavourful that it just wants to get you going after your very first sip. You get quite a number of condiments alongside like bean sprouts, vegetables, pork balls, minced pork and wanton skin, and one can choose between bee hoon or Kway Teow (I chose the latter) which was springy without being too soggy. Definitely a must-try in my opinion; the flavorful soup with the complex play of flavours and unforgiving heat is simply shiok especially on a rainy day! (Self note: ask them to not add in peanuts the next time if I were to order this)

I would order this without peanuts too! But that's because I don't like peanuts in my Tom Yam 😜 Xing Wei Chua
Veronica Phua I am guessing if the fusion they meant was actually involving Mee Siam ...
