🍣If I recall, the sashimi bowl was around ¥2,000 while the torched sushi was only around ¥1,200. It was SOOO worth it and delicious, we came back the next day to get more! |

Because the menu was all in Japanese, we just ordered the specials because those had pictures next to the text. 😂 The sashimi bowl is actually an overflowing selection of raw cuts nested on a hill of ice. On top of the usual salmon and tuna sushi, this selection includes swordfish, yellowtail, umi, sweet shrimp, and crab. The seafood all tasted extremely fresh and nothing like I've ever tasted in Singapore. This was the very best sushi that I had ever had in my two trips to Japan. |

As someone who does not usually eat sashimi, the torched platter really blew my socks off. The flamed aftertaste blended beautifully with the seafood and I could sink my teeth through the nigiri easily because everything was so incredibly fresh. |

The shop itself is located near Kuromon Market but in an unassuming alley that took quite a lot of walking down the wrong streets to find. Once you find it though, you still have to wait even longer as you join the queue outside. Inside, you sit in very cramped high chairs against the counter and get to watch the sushi chef in action. If there is space, you might even get to go to the second floor where there are tatami mats and low tables your group can dine at. This is an absolute joy to dine at and I highly recommend it! | ®️: 10/10 | {Btw the geotag is wrong bc I can't find the location on insta but a quick Google search of Toki Sushi will bring you the correct result}
