Creme brûlée done right! A flawlessly caramelized coat on top that you could break with the dessert spoon. Once that is done the spoon is greeted by a consistent smooth pudding that had a just-right green tea flavor. It's a steal at 42k rupiah ++, so if you are at fat chow do save space for this dessert! It was also my first time trying Indonesia murtabak and being a pancake person this was a delight, dense batter that had a little Kueh like texture. Only complaint was the measly spread of Nutella and the crunchy granola chunks that felt a little like competition to the main murtabak.
Skip the gelato, I don't think the cafes in Bali understand what gelato really means when my palate is greeted by chunks of ice and way too sweet ice cream.

Another gorgeous cafe, with the open air concept and dim cozy setting. The bites to share were very tasty (think well seasoned meat) but small in portions.
Fat chow's main menu is an assortment of Asian cuisines from Thai to Vietnamese to Chinese. I felt it was difficult for the cafe to shine and differentiate itself with such a wide variety of good but nothing out of the world dishes.
Having said that the ambience and still decent food (amazing green tea creme brûlée) makes this place at the top of ones list of cafes to visit in the kuta area.

Great ambience for chilling, hiding from the sun and genius use of recycled vintage items.
