Not your usual latte or cappuccino, more inclined to the usual though good enough for a caffeine fix, quite strong in fact. Good ambience, was a quiet, wish they open earlier in the morning.

Strawberry Soufflé, $9.52

A light baked cheesecake, in which rich egg yolks are painstakingly hand-kneaded into cream cheese to ensure smooth consistency, is piled high with fresh strawberry halves, and glazed to perfection.

Citron Tart, $10.50

Lemon curd filled almond sucre tart base, topped with zesty fruits from the citrus family - orange, grapefruit and pomelo

The cafe is super quiet and aesthetics on a weekday afternoon, good vibes to chill and talk with friends. Both cakes were mediocre and also on the pricey side (they were rather small), would love to try the cheese tarts in the future but the cakes are not something that I will go back for.

Other than getting some cakes to go, Flor Patisserie actually offered a pretty peaceful dine-in area for those who wanted some quiet moments to appreciate their exquisite pastries.

The Waguri Millefeuille (S$8.50) comprised custard cream and chestnut cream covering the puff pastry and sponge cakes within. Having the creamy texture like a Mont Blanc cake, this pastry also provided additional texture with Japanese chestnuts atop the pastry, giving a more Japanese feel to the treat.

And because they also offered a beverage list, I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that they had a cake set that came with a hot beverage, at only S$14.00. You bet that this would be a perfect place for a hideout or a small-group gathering if cake was something you could not resist.
