There’s a few cafes along Kampong Bahru Road, Kream & Kensho is one of the additional to this row of shophouses.

They served pretty intensive range of cuisine on the menu, from Chinese, Japanese to Western.

Dan dan Noodle served pretty simple on ingredient but definitely not the taste.

Mixing the whole bowl with the flat noodles, black sesame sauce, sous vide egg, braised minced chicken, scallions. The taste was surprisingly strong and equally balance from every bites.

It could get a bit dry after but don’t worry as it served with a bowl of miso soup.

A very well constructed dish with many layers of flavours!!! I was really pleasantly surprised with this. Capellini was perfectly cooked and the sauce complemented it so well. There was unexpected spicy kick, which I would’ve thought wouldn’t work but somehow it came together so well. Would definitely get this again if I’m back here.

I tried their most Instagrammable dish 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒆 & 𝑹𝒊𝒄𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒂 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆 ($13). I enjoyed the sweet grapes on top of the creamy ricotta and crunchy buttery brioche toast. It was drizzled with honey, topped with crushed pistachio and lavender. I love how the matcha powder on top added bitterness to cut the sweetness.

Green is the name of the game . This has all my favourite things . Grapes Pistachios Matcha Honey & Lavender . Bursting with flavour with every lavish bite . Love it !

Kream & Kensho has been on my to try list for a long time, seeing it all over social media. It looks so good. Finally went down to try and I was slightly disappointed. We ordered two K&K Milk Tea ($6.50), a Cheeseburger that came with a side of the Kombu Truffle Fries ($20) and the Sakura Ebi Capellini ($18).

K&K Milk Tea - Nice but would not get it again.

Sakura Ebi Capellini - This was nice and maybe the best out of what we ordered, but the portion was small and I honestly don’t think it was worth the price.

Cheeseburger - My friend did not enjoy it; maybe because we really like black tap’s burger🤣

Kombu Truffle Fries - Average nice but would not get it again.

Overall: It is very aesthetically pleasing and it looks delish in pictures. Other than that, taste is average considering that it is quite overpriced in my opinion. Also very overhyped.

We love the pairing of the different mains ordered and we definitely hope to give this place a return for their desserts treats! 💯 aesthetic pastel vibes, indeed a great place to hang out for your brunch dates with your pals ☺️
