Rabbit meat is found in many places at Quebec, and at first it doesn't sound right. But I did a bit of research and read that rabbit meat is actually sustainable meat, as they produce 6 times more meat per feed and water, compared to cattles.

Here at this casual restaurant, they serve rabbit which was first braised, then deep fried, before serving it with waffles as part of their brunch menu.

There's the classic poutine with just fries, cheese and sauce, then there's those variations of it with additional toppings. This one in particular is one with sunny side up, baked beans, and bacon in addition to the classic components.

And I returned to this restaurant at Quebec Old City a few times, the service here was exceptional. Especially the host (the person assigning tables at the front) Myke B-Love, who made me feel welcomed every time I returned. And service by the waitresses were always good too, regardless of who attended to me on each of my visits. This restaurant, and generally most people I meet at Quebec, made me feel that this is a city full of warmth.

You probably think they're chicken wings, just like I thought. And in many ways they do taste like chicken, except more tender and with more fine bones. And it's probably better to not know what exactly it is. After I've had it, and recognizing what "lapin" meant, I saw many other restaurants serving it too. Seems common here in Quebec.
