Headed out to cq after a reaaaaally long time in-order to celebrate another friend’s birthday 🎉 Made the decision to go to this arcade/bar called level up ⬆️.
BEST. DECISION. EVER.
There were 12 of us so to get a table we had a 600$ minimum spend 🤑. But it was worth it as essentially we got unlimited coins to play as many games 🕹️ as we wanted too, with really good live entertainment in the background 🎸. Really the music @ level up was just something else all together 😍
The food was unexpectedly very good 👍 👍 We started out with a fries platter which we absolutely devoured in no time 😝. The platter had an assortment of fries (curly and the sweet potato fries were my personal favourite). It came with 4 really yummy dipping sauces as well 😋
We then had some chicken poppers (not in picture) which were really crispy and flavourful (🌶️). We ordered some pizzas to go around. I only tried the mushroom and egg pizza and it was pretty damn good 😌. The runny egg j seems like a really unique pizza topping 🍳 but it plays w the rest of the ingredients pretty well.
Finally, we finished off with a nice vanilla ice cream and brownie note (had walnuts in it unfortunately 🥲). It was good (common brownie win 🥇).
Everything about level up is phenomenal, except for the service. Yet again all the staff seemed extra frustrated. Running a bar must be tough work 🤷♀️

Garlicky sweet crab and prawn aglio olio. Wouldn’t order this overpriced tasteless pasta again.

Crispy battered fish served with shoestring fries and coleslaw. There isn’t any Asahi beer taste at all. Overall, overpriced for their food.

Visited @levelup @eatplaylovesg and had an awesome time! Food and drinks reasonably priced. I particularly loved the Fish & Chips as the batter was so light and ultra crispy while the fish was really soft and moist, just the way F&C should be. Don’t forget to collect a token for every drink ordered as the signature of this place is its retro arcade machines.
This arcade bar is levelling up bar experience. Every food / drink order comes with tokens that you can used to ply arcade games like Basketball, darts, air hockey, etc. There is also a live band with great song lists, that keep everyone hyped up throughout the late night. I really enjoyed the sour plum cocktail, which tasted like umeshu. All in all a great experience at Level Up!
Saw the review from thesmartlocal.com before coming and we had to go and see Singapore's first arcade-bar. It was only Hubby and myself since its date night and a simple birthday celebration for me. We had the highly addictive Typhoon Tater Tots ($12) thats topped with nacho cnheese and soy crumbs. We also shared a Seafood Platter($25 i think) between the 2 of us. It was a very big portion and quite worth it. The place has a nice ambience, will want to go there again with colleagues next time.
An interesting concept where @1levelupsg combined a casual arcade bar with table games and live music in a spacious and relaxing setting. Eat, Drink and Play all-in-one.
