Bib Gourmand (Michelin Guide Singapore 2022-)
This original outlet just has the one menu item: the display board just states Soup/Dry $3.50 (and additional fishballs at $0.50 ea).
New menu item, and new outlet. $5.50
Bib Gourmand (Michelin Guide Singapore 2016–2022)

Tip for first-timers: if there are people standing around waiting outside the shop, that’s not a queue to join; just go straight to the counter to place your order, then you’ll be informed the estimated waiting time (mine was ~40min at 7+pm), and that’s when you wait around like the rest for both a table and your order to be ready. I learnt as much too myself.
Definitely worth it though 😋
Youtiao, stuffed taupok, dried cuttlefish, century egg (sauce separate)
The standard rojak (Set A) is good, but this mixed grill set is even better! Everything grilled is extra crispy and you get to dip as much (or little) sauce as you want.
The highlight here is definitely the grilled dried cuttlefish, which is especially fragrant with its smoky flavour!
Came here after seeing ieatishootipost’s Dr Leslie Tay post about this stall on Facebook; it’s run by the second generation from Hainan Hokkien Mee at Golden Mile Food Centre.
This Hokkien mee is a drier style than most others but it’s still delicious, especially with the chilli and lard! Worth the try, even if parking could be hard to come by around the area (Lor 17 Geylang).
