Youtiao, stuffed taupok, dried cuttlefish, century egg (sauce separate)
The standard rojak (Set A) is good, but this mixed grill set is even better! Everything grilled is extra crispy and you get to dip as much (or little) sauce as you want.
The highlight here is definitely the grilled dried cuttlefish, which is especially fragrant with its smoky flavour!
Came here after seeing ieatishootipost’s Dr Leslie Tay post about this stall on Facebook; it’s run by the second generation from Hainan Hokkien Mee at Golden Mile Food Centre.
This Hokkien mee is a drier style than most others but it’s still delicious, especially with the chilli and lard! Worth the try, even if parking could be hard to come by around the area (Lor 17 Geylang).
Both the black and white versions are excellent, though the white probably won’t be as crispy as some may be used too elsewhere. The best part of the dish is the homemade chai tow kway itself, which is definitely the most robust & flavoursome I’ve had anywhere.

Comforting, almost like a grown-up Myojo Ramen Char Mee. And the soup is also excellent, so it’s the best of both worlds!
