A "golden mountain" of crispy tempura with Japanese rice and drizzled with tentsuyu sauce. The mixed bowl comprises tempura prawns, chicken fillet, a variety of vegetable tempura, seaweed, shiso leaf and a dollop of ebiko.

I like how I can customize the tendon the way I like. I'm happy that I can switch the rice with soba/thin udon (+$1) as I prefer noodles over rice anytime!

My favourite combination will be mixed bowl with thin udon and with level 3 tentsuyu sauce served at the side!

PS: If you can't really take spicy food, opt for non-spicy or level 1. The 3 different levels are created by adding bird's eye chilli and Capsaicin sauce. Level 2 is a balance between spicy and sweet. Level 3 is very spicy for most people but I felt it's still acceptable (the maximum I can accept). Any spicier my lips will swell like cocktail sausages. Hahaha.

Suitable for one to two persons, the Zeitaku course is good for people trying puffer fish for the first time as it showcases a range of torafugu and snow crab dishes in different styles. Fuss-free raw fish fix without the crazy queue.

Kaisendon ($17.80 with scallops) -Marinated chunks of salmon, tuna & scallops atop a bed of sushi rice & topped with ikura & daikon sprouts. The sashimi were fresh & the orbs of ikura burst in the mouth with a pop. Oishiii!!

PS: Each bowl of Kaisendon cost S$16 and additional $1.80 for 4 sweet & fresh scallops! Value for money!

This melt-in-your-mouth pinkish, medium fatty tuna is rich with a soft, buttery flavour.I'm in tuna heaven!

Surume Ika, S$16 - Grilled Japanese Squid in Ginger Sauce. Grilled to perfection, the squid's tender & juicy! The ginger sauce complements the squid well. A true taste of seafood at its finest!

Bacon-wrapped potato skewer, S$8. You won't go wrong with bacon & potato but it's a little expensive for 4 small pieces which you can easily replicate at home. Go for their fresh sashimi flown in from Hokkaido every Tues & Fri!
