Places I've Tried
Can you believe that "Dong Ji Fried Kway Teow" (stall 01-138) has been around for nearly half a century? That means the elderly gentleman has been frying his noodles for longer than most of us have been in existence! When I hear the "kling kling kling" of his spatula hitting the wok as he fries, I already salivate in anticipation. A potent"wok hei" flavour and the addition of chives makes his noodles really appetizing.
Creamier's long queues and licked-dry plates are testament to the truly addictive nature of their ice cream and waffles. Expect to queue even on a weeknight, but it's seriously worth it. Two perfectly crisp waffles stay firm below two scoops of dense ice cream. Go for the Salted Caramel Gula Melaka and the Roasted Pistachio.
My friend and I tried Omakase at wisma last week. We were both very disappointed. The burgers were overpriced, underwhelming and seriously overrated. We were expecting a god-awesome burger because of tons of publicity. Sad to say that we were disappointed by it. Not worth it at all.
Don't they sound delectable? 'Pancakes with Gula Melaka Butterscotch. The salted gula melaka (palm sugar) over those plush pancakes is to die for. I walloped more than half of this. Just. Couldn't. Stop. Eating. For non-Singaporeans, "shiok" is a word to describe a feeling of utter bliss.' - Rachel Xie
