All Day Breakfast
Well-scrambled eggs, two slices of toasted bread, a grilled sausage with a crusty exterior, tomatoes and baked beans - it's everything one could ask for in a breakfast plate done well. Artistry has lots of amazing dishes to order so this is usually overlooked. But on days I'm in the mood for something simple and hearty, this fits the bill perfectly.
A bit on the salty side but still quite good in general.
Hmm, but as much as I love food, I think the only cure for me right now is sleep... 😪😪😪
The only cafe that steal my heart away with their french toast and caramelized banana. So nice and worth it that i'm dying to be back.
Ronin's my go-to place for consistently reliable and stunning all-day brunch. A great - possibly the best - scramble, well-roasted portobello, beautifully charred sausages, crisp bacon, and generously buttered toasts - I'm in brunch heaven. The food's awesome, the coffee's stellar, and the staff are amazing. What's not to like?
Situated within Phoenix Park in the Tanglin area, Boufe (the word a portmanteau of "boutique" and "cafe") Boutique Cafe shares a space with Ohvola boutique. The usual brunch fare such as Eggs Benedict, Brioche French Toast and Croque Madame are served, but you should really try Boufe's Big Breakfast or "Triple B" ($21). Creamy scrambled eggs, sauteed mushrooms, bacon, sausages and a freshly baked buttery croissant — not a bad way to start your day at all. They serve fantastic pastries as well, of which the Strawberry Shortcake ($8) and Citron Tart ($5.50) stand out. Given the quality of the food and the killer combination of spaciousness, chic decor and warm ambience, this place will only become more popular with time.
Opened by an ex co-owner of Sarnies, The Hangar is a seriously chill spot with good, honest food. Their menu is focused on sandwiches and salads, with brunch offerings like Smashed Feta and Avocado on Toast ($8), and The Hangover ($20) — a massive plate of eggs, sausages, mushrooms, beans, and toast. Albeit humble-looking, the sarnies here pack a load of flavour, and everything is made from scratch. Look out for their unique sandwiches such as Lotus Croqueroots (lotus root croquettes, $10), and the Lemongrass Steak ($12). Of course, no brunch is complete without coffee. Note that they roast their beans in-house!
Tired of coffee? Get your day going with cold-press juices from Juicyfy Juice Bar which are great thirst-quenchers! They serve food like toasty panini sandwiches and classic big brekkies for their lunch sets on weekdays, which also comes with a free juice! A wide variety of gelato flavors are available for those with more room in their tummies to spare.
Limited menu that's recited to you by the staff. Delicious food served with a moody, so-hip-that-it-hurts vibe. Laidback chillout beats. Light's turned low with pockets of warm lighting. Slinky club feel. But filled with delicious smells of sizzling bacon and fresh coffee. Unexpected but nice.
