Here is something different from the usual prawn pastas done "aglio olio" style. Theirs is cooked in a garlic cream sauce that's quite unique. It has lots of sweetness from the sautéed white onions and a quiet heat from chilli padi to balance off the heaviness. However, I think it would've been tastier with a touch more salt, and the spagetti could be more "al dente". Then again, I guess there are customers who like it this way.
Because this is a dish that can be very filling, it's suitable for those with big appetites.

I don't have anything new to add to the numerous positive Burps of the waffles from this cafe. It really was good - light and crunchy yet still a little chewy. Fruit was fresh and the vanilla bean ice-cream, generous.

The desserts here are known to be wonderful. Hence, I had a strong inkling the "Caramelised Bananas Pancake" would be nothing short of fabulous too. My inkling was spot on.
Measuring about an inch and a half in thickness, the pancake was astonishingly airy - it felt to me like I was eating a piece of a cloud, albeit one with gorgeous caramelised bananas heaped on top. The soft serve ice-cream was just creamy enough to not overwhelm it either. Altogether, I find this a very successfully composed dessert.

The clever lads of Stranger's Reunion have made their best-selling buttermilk waffles the main act at Waffle Slayer just next door. Serving up flavour combinations of all kinds, get adventurous with the squid ink or matcha waffles. If you'd rather stick to the plain buttermilk, go for the chicken shnitzel with kaffir lime mayo. While they are pretty pricey, the combinations are worth a try! Photo by Charlene Tan

Originally from Malaysia, and now it's here! Some damn good filling pancakes, with some iced chocolate and iced mocha for the humid weather!

With each cake like an artpiece, it takes a Burppler about 20 shots before willing to dig in. Each mouthful tastes like heaven, and every single detail is meticulously taken care of, contributing to the burst of sensations on the tongue. Don't miss their playfully named G-Spot chocolate cake, or the awesome-sounding Triomphe caramel cake. * Tip: If you specially request for the rare 3D latte art from the head barista, you might just be lucky enough to get it ;)

We have to say that Strangers' Reunion simply does the best waffles in Singapore. Don't let that distract you from the amazing cup of coffee you're bound to get here, seeing it comes from our National Barista Champion, Ryan Tan. You won't be disappointed. * Strangers' has recently renovated, go check out their new menu and bigger space!
