The highly raved cold noodles in Hong Kong. Not to my liking thought, as the ingredients tasted too "raw" for me.
It easily love at first taste! 😘
😍 It's crispy and buttery with a drop of sweetness all in one piece of toast. Plus 翠華餐廳 is easily accessible and located in many areas.
Here at the first outlet out of Japan. However, I find Japan's Ichiran tasted better than Hong Kong's.
The rum special was 👍
Best to have this steaming hot and it tastes so gooood
A different kind of taste than those you can find in Singapore, the char siew was rich in its sweetness and yet soft and tender to bite through. Can't finish the whole thing though, the taste gets too overwhelming at the end of eating it.
I hereby present the legendary lemon tea, after seeing how a local drinks it, I understand the need to mash the lemon and kept stirring till the perfect taste is achieved!!
A little pricey at 52 HKD, but the food was really good. Char siew was succulent and the plates were really cute!
$7 HKD for 4 pieces. Every time I visited Sham shui Po to get my 3G SIM card I would get this and there would be a long queue for it. They would put 4 sauces on your Chee Chong fun, namely 麻酱(sesame sauce), 豉油(soya sauce), 甜酱(sweet sauce), 辣酱(chilli sauce). Always a good way to start a day of crazy eating with some flavorful breakfast!
Not an avid fan of frozen yogurt, but this froyo that came with twin flavors of the original and matcha captured my heart with its distinct flavors!
Huge chunks of char siew along with thick bee hoon was what Hong kongers usually eat in their restaurants. The char siews were juicy and tender and were in large chunks that were very different from Singapore's way of preparation. The Vermicilli was okay but I don't mind eating the char siew again!
