Besides the mini marshmallows, this did not really remind me of s'mores. The waffles here were crunchier than the taro and red velvet waffles though! This came with a sweet creamy sauce, reminiscent of melted marshmallows so I'll give it to them. We chose the Earl grey ice-cream to have with this, and the ice-cream was good. It had a prominent Earl grey flavour! :)

Mad For Garlic's entire menu revolves around garlic, which is both innovative and interesting. One dish you should not miss is the Garlic Snowing Pizza, a special sweet garlic pizza topped with shrimp, pineapple, fried garlic slices, and lots of freshly shaved parmesan. The combination of flavours and textures works really well, and the thin crust keeps it light. Also, go for the Lobster Cream Pasta, a garlic cream sauce pasta rich in lobster meat and fish roe. Due to the special preparation by the chef, the pungent smell of garlic is removed. Therefore, both garlic or non-garlic lovers can expect an enjoyable experience with the unique taste of Mad for Garlic's mouth-watering dishes.

Artichoke is one of those cafes you go to for a full-on meal, and is known for packing in surprising Middle Eastern flavors in the best ways possible. Hidden in a gorgeous courtyard, this gem is perfect for brunch or dinner. Go for the Mezze Platter or Lamb Shakshuka for brunch, and the Sultan's Delight for dinner. Brunch in this brick-walled space is always a lovely affair, from the ambience to the well-executed food.
