New gelato option in the heartlands!

The quirky store name meant boh beh zao (incomparable), has brought a new meaning to localised flavours. Presenting a variety of unique yet decadent options such as Green Apple Yakult, Lemongrass Pandan, Cereal Mai Pian and Muah Chee!

Other than Classic Buttermilk Waffles ($5.50), the one that impressed me is their Pandan Gula Melaka Waffles ($6.50). Naturally flavoured, the Pandan waffles has a slightly caramelised fragrance from the Gula Melaka. Pair with special House-made Jam, and Caramelised Cookies and Childhood Milo! Woahhhhhhhh

Ready for more late-night desserts? The three-storey high building opposite Bugis Junction is occupied by Smile Dessert ้…’็ช็”œๅ“, which opens till 3am!

Expect a variety of desserts like flowy lava cakes, boing boing Souffle pancakes, refreshing fruit tea or smoothie! They even serve traditional dessert like Mango Sago with Pomelo ($5.90) and Mango Rice with Ice Ball ($6.90)

Be wow by the numerous Instagram worthy spots within the cafe!
* Level 2 - expect a ball pen with lovely pink and grey shades. Or that pink trolley for a utterly cute OOTD shot~
* Level 3 is quite spacious with a Princessy corner! It does get hot in the afternoon, though they have power plugs making it a great alternative WFH venue.

Midweek matcha treat! Check out FuelX, the newest cafe by Refuel group at Potong Pasir area. Their Matcha Pancake, which is fancier than your regular pancakes, is also available at this outlet.

Stack of matcha-infused pancakes served with banana, berries, matcha ice cream, a dusting of pistachio and drizzled in matcha sauce. Pancake is light but wishes there was a strong taste of matcha.

Bakery by day and gelato lab at night! @chuand.co has finally unveiled what they had been trying to churn out - Chulato!

Expect to find interesting flavours such as Evoo (extra virgin olive oil), Sake Lemon or Smoked Whiskey at $4.50/single scoop or $8.20/double scoop.

For an indulgent treat, try the nutty Walnut Praline swirled with Choc Fudge or go for the tempting mix of Strawberry Pistachio, which will be a hit with strawberry lovers due to the intense flavour

Such a sweet name for this entremet. Lychee mousse and rose sponge, it consist of small lychee bits and topped with lychee popping boba. Definitely a โ€œvery feminine flavouredโ€ cake.

Ending Sunday on a sweet note with Kaiser from LA VIE, a new minimalist cafe along Jalan Besar. Made of mango mousse, passionfruit sponge, mango bits and mango popping boba, the entremet is a combination of tropic flavours though I wish for a stronger sourish taste as this leans towards the sweet side.

Gotten their Ultraviolet ($6) to go along. The iced drink is a mix of sparkling melon oolong tea and butterfly pea gives it a beautiful gradient colour though the latter doesnโ€™t add any flavours

Remember those beautiful galaxy domes, tartlets and tiramisu? Glad to share that @rachelrax had launched her own shop (near Serangoon MRT) and you can purchase them in-store!

Tarts come in both Mini ($27.80/box of 12pcs) and Regular (from $8.50), and currently available for take away only. Other than everyoneโ€™s favourite Lychee Rose Boba, expect to find seasonal specials like Hae Bee Hiam, Butterscotch Cornflakes and Pineapple Crumble.

Perennial favourite @goodwoodparksg Durian Fiesta is backkkkkk!

Happening from 8 March to 1 August 2021, bask in the ambrosial decadence of handcrafted D24 and โ€˜Mao Shan Wangโ€™ durian pastries. I was delighted to see the new creations has local touches, while stellar classic such as D24 Mousse Cake or D24 puff is too yummy to give it a miss.

Who knew Pandan and durian goes so well together? As evident in the fragrant new D24 Pandan Waffle Cake and D24 Kueh Dadar both generously filled with D24.

Burnt Cones has been making rounds with their interesting cones options - Normal, Slightly Burnt and Burnt. Cook to various degrees and distinguished by the varying browns, the burnt cones has more heady charred fragrance. This goes surprisingly well with their ice cream as it is on the sweet side.

Attracted by the purple, we had Ube on their burnt cone ($6/normal flavour + $1 for cone). It might seem like artificial colouring but Ube (from Philippines) is known for their purple flesh. Do note that this ice cream gets cloying sweet after a few mouthful.

Luckily we gotten the new Signature flavour, Thai Coconut Lychee ($7/scoop + $1 for cone) to go along. A lighter and refreshing ice cream made of creamy coconut and lychee, you'll find bits of lychee within.

And FBB IS BACK! The newer outlet is bigger than before though something need to be done about the soundproofing. Their cakes are still as impressive! Check out that memorable cake display filled with Signatures, Diva or Divo series.

Hereโ€™s their rendition of Ondeh Ondeh. A light pandan & cream sponge, each layered with naked cream cheese and Gula Melaka sugar crumbs. Coated in a coconut cream and Gula Melaka meringue buttercream.

Say Hay~ Cozy cafe for unique gelato flavours at Bedok. Limited seatings inside (3 tables), but they have more outdoor seatings at night.

Iโ€™m not a fan of their slightly dense waffles, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well-balanced fresh strawberries and balsamic vinegar can be. No wonder itโ€™s their popular flavour! Matcha is quite intense, great for the first few bites but it leaves a bitter aftertaste

A morning gem that jam-packed with thick scrambled eggs, bacon strips, tater tots, American cheddar, and aioli. Itโ€™s just plain GOOD!

@twomenbagelhouse is definitely one of the best bagels ๐Ÿฅฏ in town so donโ€™t be deterred by the huge crowd at their outlets! And head down early or you might just leave with empty hands.
