Very tasty pork soup with lots of porky ingredients to mix and match. Ingredients are fresh and well cooked. A bit pricey but worth every cents. The stall is at Chinatown complex market and food centre #02-137. Opens 1030 am till 830 pm. Closes on Tuesdays.

This eatery set up by Paradise group in Vivocity sells delicious hae mee a la Japanese ramen style. The broth looks like the Penang Hokkien mee style full of flavour. The trio is fresh big prawns, prawn paste roll with prawn roe and prawn dumplings. They’re all very fresh and tasty. You have a choice of Chinese ramen, thick bee hoon or hor fun. Although it’s almost $20 per bowl but it’s really value for money.

Japanese styled lo hei is always a delight to have around this time of the year. After years of having the Chinese styled this is really very refreshing. There’re definitely more raw fish (a boon) and not too oily in the mixture. This plate cost about $38 which is definitely more worth the value and it’s yummy good too. The sauce used was sesame flavour that puts a punch in the overall taste. 👍👍👍

Fancy nasi lemak burger style? Then head down to the Esplanade for this interesting burger. Was sceptical that it’s good but the aroma of the piping hot lemak rice buns hit my nostrils I was half convinced it’s good. Biting into the chicken patty and sambal chilli sauce I think it’s promising. Sauce was not too spicy and just enough sweet to taste. Overall it’s a good local burger to try. There’s even chicken rice burger too. And because it’s a subsidiary of No Sign Board Restuarant there’re chilli crab bao and man tou too. Go try it cos you’ll never know if you like it.

I’m a sucker for any dessert with gula Melaka. So when I saw it I ordered this sponge cake cum mousse without a second thought and fell in love with it. The combination of ingredients is really a Nyonya dessert lover’s dream comes true. It has gula Melaka mousse and sauce(of course), pandan sponge cake and (this is good) pulut hitam!!! This sticky black glutinous rice(which is both sweet and savory) is a great component to this delicious cake. Really yummy yummy yum yum yum!!!

The dish comes with fresh lettuce, mint leaves and fish sauce with chili. Scrap the meat and skin off the tail then wrapped it with the lettuce, added a few drops of fish sauce, put a mint leaf or more before eating it. Yummy! Pig’s Tail is sweet and tender. The fish sauce added the savory taste to it. Yummy yummy yum yum yum.

New item and as good if not better than the normal toast. Love the fact that the bun is served hot melting the kaya and butter. Hence you get the kaya butter gravy all over the bun. Yummy yummy yum yum yum!

There wasn't any description of what it was but the server gave me a good idea and I decided to order it. When it arrived the first thing I did was to knock on the white chocolate shell and the inside was beautiful. Great thing was it tasted just as great. There's a thin coconut gel on top of the sweet mousse. Eaten together the combination tasted like coconut whip cream. Overall it's yummy delicious.

It's actually French toast with salted egg yolk lava inside. It's an interesting creation but too oily.

I really didn't know you can have deep fried soba and then add in a spicy seafood sauce. The end result is 👍👍👍. Especially if you like eating deep fried noodles served in our local seafood eateries. The soba is super crispy even after it's soaked in the sauce it still has the crispy bite. The sauce is spicy but not overwhelming the soba. You must try if you like crispy noodles.

The prawn bodies were sautéed and the heads were fried with salted egg yolk. Really tasty and interesting. A good way to eat the entire prawn without waste. Yummy 👍👍👍
