Marvellously scrumptious - the truffle component kept things as gentle as a hawker centre ceiling fan, whilst the delectably salty and plump mushroom fries' unshakeably high levels of water retention is to our benefit. 4.1/5
A shot of initial truffly saltiness, followed by a most egg-white heavy whipped cream experience. 3.9/5

The pancake was like a Indian-spiced prata who eats Wheat Baumkuchen and The Daily Cut for lunch, while the juicy lychee and moist duck had the same chemistry with the salty and slightly spicy black sauce as an IG frequent staycationer has with the Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool. 3.7/5

The radish puff evoked the same feels as a flaky Teochew yam mooncake albeit a tad more savoury, the shrimp and foie gras item had a plump, supple prawn core and the same thick skin as those sesame balls you get at dim sum stalls, whilst elsewhere the glutinous pumpkin was like a sun-worshipping mochi.

The skin of this amazing piggylicious delight must have been separated at birth from crème brûlée. I doodled a diagram in my notes whilst eating this – it was a circle labelled “middle” within a box with area outside the circle shaded and labelled “melts in mouth fats”.

An experience in itself – you access the little soybeans by sucking on them pods, which are so immersed in truffle flavour that the normally tasteless soybeans themselves become unescapably tasty by virtue of your mouth becoming an intermediary truffle oiling agent. Somebody should patent this process. 4/5

The salted egg dip is like McDonald’s curry sauce undergone some supernova explosion of an evolution – thick, creamy, spicy, peppery and very, very gao. Control your dosage. 3.9/5
