From Grillo at Pasarbella Suntec City. Loved how soft the mochi was without being too excessively sweet nor sticky, carrying a light subtle brown sugar sweetness while dusted in sesame powder.
What a glorious sight - a mountain of fries topped by what looks to be blowtorched cheese-capped peaks of piquant beef chilli. You won't want to share this with anyone.
4.5 munchies: I knew this was going to be the star dish from the tasting menu upon hearing the crunch on my first bite. The perfectly toasted imported coca (a traditional Catalan flatbread) made an ideal crust for the pizza-like dish. I loved the strong yet not overpowering flavour of the anchovies and balsamic vinegar drizzle, complementing the onions, roasted peppers, and Manchego. Owner-Chef duo Maria and Edward are looking into making their bread in-house – I can't imagine what that would entail.
