Found this on Burpple Beyond and decided to head down. The type of steaks varies day to day, but I was blessed to have a MS7 sirloin at just $25. Can’t go wrong. Enjoy even more with #burpplebeyond!
Good old ice cream and waffles at udders! It’s been a long long while. Liked the salted caramel and dark chocolate flavors. Can’t remember their exact fancy names. Opens till 1am and only sides are available when we reached about 1030pm.
Recommended by another Burppler. I was craving for Hokkien mee and so I made a cycling trip to the new estate. Got the $6 option and it was huge. Wok hei is there and it was right on starchiness. It is not as flavorful as the famous one in Geylang but this is definitely much better than your regular neighborhood Hokkien mee.
My favorite dish of the 7 course dinner set. It's really having fried garoupa in chili crab sauce with a tinge of Sichuan mala. Sets are priced at $58/ $78 per pax. A really good place to bring your big families to. Very comfortable setting.
Huge bowl of assorted diced sashimi, uni and ikura. Comes with salad, miso soup and coffee brûlée as dessert. Definitely fills you up. Recommend you to go for the more value for money sets on the menu.
Get the soya bean milk and this. Makes a very good snack!
Get this with you main. It's very good! I only wished that the serving is bigger. Highly recommended.
Finally tried the ramen at this popular joint and I went for the recommended spicy miso ramen. They offer complementary free flow hard boiled eggs, marinated bean sprouts, egg mayo salad. Unfortunately, the ramen was served in lukewarm broth, which I believe is a cardinal sin for ramen. Further, there was just too much going on in the broth, all fighting for your attention. If you're really hungry, this is a good place for you. However, the Spicy Miso ramen didn't work out for me.
Affectionately known as 'opposite' by our engineering team, this is a good place if you want something fast and value-for-money. When people ask me what do they have there, I'll reply "bak kut time, fried time and kopi-time gosong". If we need time, we come here.
The lightly seared chicken went well with pico de gallo and the sunny side up. Perfect pick for a light lunch with really good coffee.
Enjoyed the how the light and peppery porridge went with the savory sauce. The frog meat was tender and I had fun chewing every piece down to the bones. I'll come back again.
The pork chop fried rice is like your trustworthy friend. You know it'll be there to bring you comfort and joy. A no-brainer choice here!

Brews coffee at Burpple. Secret ambition: to sell Burpple coffee for £1 in a neon pink paper cup.
