Happy hour everyday including weekends? Yes please! Solid burger with a well seasoned patty, as well as crispy breaded chicken and fluffy waffles. The salted caramel popcorn in the linebacker platter was also addictive ($48 was a bit steep for the platter though... When 1/4 of it was veggies & dip)
Died and went to beefy heaven last night. Ohmi A4 ribeye and Iwate A5 ribeye - the marbling was gorgeous and they practically melted in our mouths. Super rich but also very delicate. Spent a bomb but at least we got 4 for 2 with the entertainer app 🙈
The last time we came, we were told that the pork from their supplier was "not good" that day and so they weren't serving this dish. But we finally had it yesterday and it was soooooo good. Fried to perfection, the marinated pork spare rib was so tender and delicious. Just the right amount of fat to just that bit more sinful but not at all oily. Tangy sour plum sauce and some cold veggies to cut through the pork fat. We all polished our individual portions off.
With extra chai po to make it super shiok. Plain with only some veggies and no meat, but full of wok hei flavour. Traditional food at its best.
You know how sometimes you order a medium rare because you expect a medium instead? No issue here - it was a spot on medium rare. Free flow frites, but unfortunately they're not as crispy as I like them to be. Accompanying mixed salad was fresh and zesty, and cut through the richness of the meal. I had the Australian ribeye ($39.80) but the parents decided to splurge a bit for the USA "super entrecôte" ($50ish) , and it turned out to be money well spent - the meat was more tender and sweeter. Overall pretty good steaks for the price.
Rich and luscious - definitely should be shared between 2-3. Seasoned perfectly.
