Healthy Cafe
Refreshing my palette from all the rich food I have been consuming and filling up on antioxidants, I got myself Haakon’s Classic Acai Bowl ($7.90/med, $12.90/large). A little on the grainy side, the organic frozen acai blend was pretty decent and satisfying with a good balance of tartness. Served with a base of chia pudding, the bowl boosted a sweet medley of fruits (dragonfruit, banana, blueberries and strawberries), crunchy granola and topped with my favourite coconut flakes. Hence, providing layered textures as you dig into the superfood parfait. Eating clean made easy.
The acai seemed to melt very quickly (either they over blended or they added more water inside their blends) but this was still one of the most and value-for-money acai bowls, from how they are relatively generous with their toppings, which is so important, as each scoop should have lots of toppings + acai in order to taste and get a crunchy bite. Would totes eat this again!
This is a minty chocolate pie attached with brownies sprinkled on top. It is a refreshing dessert.
Plus, the crews were a bunch of friendly and welcoming people.
One important selling point of this cafe is the value for money food and no gst and service charge.
It is a lightly flavoured waffles that's made less oily. The combination of
avacado , smoked salmon and waffles with maple syrup is perfectly harmonised in this dish .
A healthy and nutritious lunch fix. 😊
