The nasi briyani is definitely not as shiok as authentic ones but it was a good alternative. Monkey head mushrooms were used instead and the curry gravy packed a punch which went well with the fluffy basmati rice.
Quite a unique pesto which is sweet from the red capsicum used.
The oysters are replaced by straw mushrooms. It takes some getting used to as the dish lacked the usual flavor of oysters. Nonetheless, we were pleased with the chilli sauce, the crispiness of the egg and the starch wasn't too gooey. Perhaps a bit too pricey for just eggs and mushrooms?
The pesto was minty and intense, yet not oily. Though the pasta wasn't that al dente, the dish overall was great with the mushrooms and cashews.
It was a light yet filling dish. Veggie patty was topped with cheese, and refreshing shredded zucchini and plain yoghurt. The menu mentioned portobello mushroom which was non-existing in the patty. The dish would have been too plain without the herbed sweet potatoes on the side.
The monkey head mushrooms had a kind of canned oyster mushrooms taste. Maybe I'll go for the rendang or kung pao flavor next time. I've always loved pumpkins and Greendot's was well cooked. The outlet is really tiny and the variety is limited. Will go to Paya Lebar Sq next time.
