I just love Dosais I cannot even 😍 I tried the crispy paper-thin dosai at Komala's for the first time and imagine my joy when I first saw the huge rolled up Indian crepe! I had it plain, just dipped in the accompanying daal, but to get it crispy do note that it will definitely be oily than the non-crispy version!

Was so excited for Indian cuisine for dinner tonight cos it's been quite awhile 😍 We had the Fish Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo and Gobi Manchurian. There was one-for-one for mains on the Entertainer app too so total bill came up to just about $30 for 2. Really worth it for the spread! Oh and the Teh Halia (less sweet) here is one my favourites!

Back at our usual hunt again for Labour Day dinner with the family. Decided to try out other dishes today and so glad we went for the vegetarian options cos they were all incredibly tasty. We had Gobi Manchurian, which was battered cauliflower stir-fried in a sticky sweet red coloured sauce with capsicums and onions. (This one imo interestingly had the texture like prawns) We always order the Daal from the soup menu but decided to try the one from the vegetarian menu instead, and omg it is so tasty. And it's nice to know also that It's made from lentils so it's pretty healthy too. πŸ‘πŸ»

Curry Gardenn is well-establishing itself as one of my favourite place for good northern Indian food fix. So glad to find out there's an outlet at HillV2! My usual orders: Garlic naan dipped in the very flavourful Chicken Vindaloo curry sauces and the tomato-based Brinjal Masala. Oh and their Ginger Tea is really good and very gingery too!

Had some serious Egg Thosai cravings and Springleaf does some really yummy ones with the crispy thin edges! There's something about the sourness of the batter I really like. The adventurous choice of salted egg prawn prata was a miss for me though; the salted egg and cheesy mix was way too gelat and the prawns were like tiny shrimp kinds.

Masala Mutton ($12), Vindaloo Chicken ($9), Masala Brinjal ($6) and Aloo Gohbi ($6). The two best things about Indian cuisine: such rich, flavourful mix of spices and you get to use your hands to eat (dipping those naan in sauce). πŸ–πŸ» Great for sharing and at very reasonable prices. The reason why we find ourselves back here over and over again. ☺️

Chanced upon this Northern Indian restaurant, and the food and customer service definitely justifies the crowd we saw at Saturday's dinner time. The fish head curry was huge and came with a generous variety of vegetables (but personally found it too mild, would have preferred it spicier). The star dish was definitely the Mutton Mangalore, cooked and seasoned really flavourfully. (The essential ingredient of this dish has to be the dessicated coconut). Other vegetable dishes I'd recommend are the Aloo Gobhi (Cauliflower and potatoes) and Brinjal Masala. Total bill came up to $77.10 for 5 people which is a very reasonable price! β˜ΊοΈπŸ‘πŸ»

Mother's Day dinner at one of our favourite Indian restaurants. Surprisingly not too crowded considering it was a Sunday and that it was Mother's Day. The curry fish head is a must order, coupled with plain naan. Awesome that you get the entire fish head instead of just half of it (which is usually the case in most Chinese Zi Char places). The Aaloo-Gobi cauliflower dish was pretty flavourful too, would recommend it as well! Total bill came up to $77 for 4 people, really value-for-money considering the amount of food we had! πŸ‘πŸ»β˜ΊοΈ

Went to this Northern Indian restaurant for dinner for an interesting change. Ordered the Fish Tikka Masala, Mutton Vindaloo, Butter Chicken and a mixed vegetable dish. Great that all the dishes weren't very big so we could order a variety! All the sauces were soooo flavourful and well-spiced, I can be contented just eating plain naan dipped in sauce 😌 My favourite has to be the fish one 😍 Really nicely flavoured with a blend of ginger and other vegetables. Highly recommend! πŸ‘πŸ»
