Bukit Batok just got more exciting with this newly opened stall selling Penang Prawn Noodles and Assam Laksa! 🎊 I had the Assam Laksa and safe to say, I’d be back for more! 👍🏻 The only other place I know selling Assam Laksa is at Bukit Timah Food Centre, and while that Assam Laksa has little sardine bits that make the consistency of the soup more gao, this one has its sardines in larger chunks, making the soup more drinkable. Soup wise, both are equally tangy, no complains there. 💯

Pro tip: The Assam laksa doesn’t come with prawn paste, but feel free to add however much you want with the free flow prawn paste imported from Penang! #Burpproved #BukitBatok #Hawkerfoodsg

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Seriously, this cosy two-storey shop in the new King Albert Park mall dishes out some of the creamiest ice creams I’ve had (yes, creamier than Creamier!😱).

The flavours they offer are really unique too, like Watermelon-Kalamansi (really refreshing and not as icy as usual sorbets 👍🏻), Wasabi (not sure I can finish a whole scoop of it but wow, really shiok, must sample!) and Sea Salt Gula-Coconut that had little bits of coconut shavings in it for added texture.

Here’s the Roasted Peanut (as creamy as peanut butter but way more nutty) and the Cereal Milk (malty with a milky finish, also creamy) that we received FOR FREE (with every full priced pasta that you order).

Omg and I forgot about the Banana Crumble. If there’s anyone on Burpple that loves a good banana ice cream like me, you’ll love this too! 🍌 Comes with actual (but not very crunchy) bits of crumble. 👏🏻 #Burpproved
